What makes a powerful presentation

When presenting something  make sure you can answer any question that may be asked. Always have a back up answer to the most off the wall question you can think of. You never know what may be asked about the product you are presenting. Also make sure you sound like you know what you're talking about. Don't use a lot of um's and ugh's, it doesn't sound very professional. Be excited and work hard to impress them. 

What makes a good poster?

In my opinion, a good poster is something that grabs the attention of someone and makes them look at it and say "I want to go there" Or I want to do that. Whatever that poster is advertising when someone sees it they think that they want to go there or do that. It has to be absolutely wonderful. You have to make sure you are actually focusing on the project its self and not something that is close to the project. What I mean by this is if you have to make a travel poster for Cancun don't focus it on Hawaii. Make it eye catching and amazing. Make the customer say I want to go there or I want that. Make it so thats all that person thinks about it. but also make it fun.!

Why I want to be a graphic designer

I have always been interested in computer and in art. Becoming a graphic designer would be a dream come true. I enjoy creating designs of my own and also using someone else's work to make it my own and adding my own spark to it. Being a graphic designer gives you a chance to travel to many places and meet many different people, using their ideas and you're own ideas to create a great work of art and designing it so that it will grab the attention of all the people who pass by my work. And you never know if the right person takes a look at my work they could call me to design their personal or business ideas for products they wish to market. Doing graphic design I could be doing work for the next president of the united states or maybe I will the next person with a new design for cokecola bottles. Being a graphic designer I will never be bored with my job I'll always be looking for that photo shot that will allow me to brain storm and come up with the most eye catching designs that I know would catch the eye of everyone. I think being a graphic designer you can be able to turn someones life around or create a design that when another designer looks at it they think " why didn't I think of that". I would say being a graphic designer would be on the funnest jobs. When working as a Graphic Designer this would be a opportunity to show how creative I can be. To show how one small picture could become a work of art. Being a graphic designer I can give and take advice to be come better. You never know where it will allow you to end up because there are so many opportunity's out there.

The Living Proof

Well today was the second day of college, I'm going for computer graphics and design. and to be comleatly honest... I'm loveing it and I think I have found something that I want to do for the rest of my life. (although our teacher says we will have nightmares of him) hes still pretty cool... I was going to this school about 3 1/2 years ago or so and I ended up not being able to compleat it. But I am back now and i'm the liveing proof that if I can go through what I did and still end up in school regaurdless of how long ago it was, anyone can do it. I'm doing it not only for myself but to prove to everyone who doesn't believe in me that I can and that I will be someone in life. When I get done people are going to know who I am and I will prove to eveyone that I have beat the odds. I will prevail and I shall overcome. So to anyone who may happen to stumble across this blog remember that no matter what anyone says or what anyone does you can do anything you put you're mind to no matter what.. Trust me because I am THE LIVING PROOF
